Get over the cliched ‘Goa is all about beaches’ phenomenon and head to the most enthralling terrains for trekking in Goa. The best time to embark on any trek in Goa is from October to December, the time when the terrains are not slippery and the sun is not shining bright over your head. The adventure excursions you can take from Goa are; a trekto the Dudhsagar Falls or the Vagheriare Peak. The former trek starts from Devil’s Canyon and Collem Railway Station (you can choose your pick), while the later from the Chorla Ghat Road leading to the high peaks.

3. Hiking

For an offbeat experience of exploring the unexplored and walking through the challenging paths, you must enroll yourself for a hiking expedition. Some of the most sought after hiking destinations in Goa are Mollem National park, Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. As you will set on the trail, you will witness several waterfalls, wildlife species and scenic forest ranges. All these things along with the company of your friends, family or beloved will behold your senses and give you memories of a lifetime.

4. Hot-air balloon flight

Giving boost to the tourism in the state, Goa launched hot-air balloons in April 2015. Seeing an amazing response from the people last year, Goa continues to offer the best hot-air balloon flight this year as well. For those of you who are done with exploring the coastal beauty of Goa can enjoy the marvellous view of the state from ‘up above the world so high’. The flight operates in South Goa and you need to reach the venue at 6:30 am to start your tour and witness the beautiful sunrise.

5. Camping

Beach, bamboo huts, bonfire, music and the company of your friends! Can you think of something more serene and comforting than this? In my view, you can’t. Taking the camping experience to the next level, Goa offers everything fun and blissful. With the smell of the sea, sound of the waves, chirping of birds and soothing sand, Goa creates just the perfect ambience for camping. Also, you can indulge in adventure activities while staying at any of these camps on the beach.
